There is 600 million youth in India; with change in societal norms particularly after 2003; they are confused regarding this question. The idea popped up when the director and screenwriter, Amit R Agarwal, attended the New York Film Festival. He invited a female friend. She came with a male friend of French origin. As soon as she left for the rest room; the first thing her male-friend asked Amit was "are you two just friends or there is more to it?" Amit was appalled, more so because it came from a man supposed to be from a liberal society!
