SOIL' tells the story of a promise to a daughter by her father Ashfaaq Zuaadri, a wanted terrorist, but a humanist by birth who struggles to stay afloat in the impenetrable whirlpool his life has become. His frustration reaches its peak when his decision of not involving a child as an initiation factor for serial bomb blasts that his team has planned, is opposed strictly by his colleague and receives no positive response from any of the higher hierarchy. He decides to forsake violence and reach out to his only living daughter Shabana on her sixth birthday, as promised. Can Ashfaaq successfully leave the world of terrorism and lead a happy normal life with his daughter again...?
