What is the difference between REGISTER and LISTING?
Our portal offers a host of services, in addition to a wealth of information. In order to regulate usage and avoid misuse, we require a person using this site to be registered with us by choosing a username and password of his choice. . Registration is for FREE, involving a short form that needs to be filled. Every time a user logs in, he has to type in his user name and password to gain access.

Where as Listing is when a person/ company wishes to list their services/products on our portal, so that our registered users can view the information provided by them.

How do I register? Of what advantage is it to me?
Registering with us is a simple process. In the log in area click on 'New User' and fill out the short form that opens. You can select your own user name and password. After that you will become a registered member of 1takemedia having gained unrestricted access to all the data and features available on the site. Secondly you will be informed of new and exciting developments within our industry. Then, if you so choose you can list your product and services too for free. (or go for our Gold or Silver option).

How do I list myself?
Firstly, click on LIST YOUR SELF FOR FREE in the left menu and select whether you want to list in our BASIC (Free), SILVER or GOLD level. Whichever level you decide to list under, the relevant form will open, which will guide you further. .

Will I need to remember two user names and passwords for registration and listing?
No, you will need to remember only one. To list your self in any of our categories, you need to be registered with us. This is all you need every time you log on.

Who gives my user name & password?
You are free to choose your own username provided it is not in use by someone else. The password too is of your choice

What if I forget my password?
Please click on forgot password link in the log in area, follow the instructions and we will email your password to you.

How do I edit my information?
Once you are listed on our site under any one or more categories, all you have to do is log in using your username and password. Then you will see a button "EDIT YOUR PROFILE"- click on that and a form will open in which you can change your password, edit your info and choose to upgrade as well.

What are these buttons on your site and what do they contain?
The business of film & TV programming stretches from pre-production to marketing. For an industry person, these buttons will guide you as to where exactly to look, up your area of interest- for example, locations would be in pre-production and production: editing studios would fall under post production, where as PRO would be in marketing and distribution. The 'others' category includes the support needed, like Finance, Insurance, Health and Fitness, etc. We have 300 categories with more then 15,000 listings covering every conceivable aspect of a project.

We have taken due care to include most categories: however, if your category is not listed, please find a category that is the closest to you or contact us for assistance.

How many categories can I list my self in?
If you are listed for free, you can be listed in only 1 category. For listing under more categories, you need to become a gold or silver level member. For further details please click here (table opens)

What kind of information does your site contain?
Our site contains a lot of information that you as an entertainment professional will find invaluable; starting form Actors, Directors, Technicians, Locations, Exhibitors, Musicians , Transport, Security and much more. It is our claim that everything you need to make a film/TV program can be found on our site. You can also keep abreast of industry news & events. You will find Jobs offered and wanted.

What do you mean by see all categories?
As mentioned earlier we have 300 categories and sub categories. In order to get an understanding of all that our site has to offer, click on 'See All Categories'. You will instantly see all the categories. You can click on any one of them to take you to that section directly.

How do I get the needed information quickly?
We have tried our best to make the navigation on our site as simple as possible. You can go to any of the relevant dropdowns in the horizontal bar and all choices will be before you. An even faster method would be to use our SEARCH function, if you know the person's name or the products/services that you are interested in. Simply type it in and press enter.

Do you have only telephone numbers of professionals listed?
We have up to two telephone numbers and one email ID of the people listed (when available). However depending on their level, you can also find details about the projects worked on by them, as well as their other details like Photos, Affiliations, Qualifications etc.

What methods of payments do you accept?
Online payment: We have tied up with CC Avenues, a Veri Sign partnered payment gateway having a 128 bit encrypted SSL server. (Highest security level used by banks etc). You can pay using NETBANKING or by CREDIT CARDS.
Cheque pick up. Call or email us to have the cheque picked up from you.
Drop it off at select locations.
Mail your cheques to us by post or courier (no cash by mail please).

No. These are jobs available in the Film and TV industry. We have divided this into two sections JOBS OFFERED : These include the vacancies in Production houses, Channels, Studios etc.

JOB SEEKERS : These are listings by the professional of the industry -be it Talent or Technicians who are looking for placements.
