You have age on your side, so finish your BMM. n the meantime join some film society like Prabhat Chitra mandal at Dadar etc. these societies show you acclaimed films from across the world. Join IDPA(Indian documentaries film Assn). they regularly run shows of such films. Seeing world cinema will open up yr thought process. See old / new Indian classics. Repeat movies that you like and decipher them.
After your BMM, If you have done a course in direction then it will be easier for you. I recommend do a course in direction in one of the film institutes. FTII is the best. Other options in Mumbai are Digital academy, XIC, MET etc.
Refer the details of the directors available on our site. Seek an appointment and meet them to see if you can assist them. When you go to meet a director please do your homework about him. It will involve some amount of running around.
You must have already registered yourself on our site. You could list yourself as a fresher in direction on our site. Listing is free. Some companies may contact you then. For any helping listing contact admin@1takemedia.com
