Query :
Dear sir, I have been multitasking in media and has also worked in different fields before that. as u can see my resume, i have a total work experience of 14 yrs in which 6 yrs is in media. I have been multitasking viz. Direction, production, copyrighting, creative etc. and my resume shows that i have been multitasking. The problem is whenever i send my resume to a prospect, they get confused that i have done almost everything. But they always ask me for one specialization. My query is why cant a person be good at most of the positions in media and if people are still stagnated to old times what is the remedy for it. I am desperate to get somewhere at present. Please help.

I totally understand your predicament.
This happens to many professionals in the industry. The newer entrants don’t understand this multi tasking bit and the unfortunate part is that they are reading your cv.
So to beat the system, firstly you need to decide what job you want to go for.
Then create a cv that tilts towards that. The other experiences you have would be props that support your main endeavour. See to it that your cv sells your strong point(and don’t try to show that you are strong in all)
You may need to create differenct cvs for different jobs you apply for.
