I have completed Video Editing course from a film school 1 1/2 year ago, from that time i am searching for a job , four months before i got job as a assistant editor in one project .I started working there but uptill now i am working free of cost, so i am again serching for a job where i can get atleast some salary as there is some financial crises at my home.I am having a good confidence on editing machine and i can edit very well.I have forwarded my updated CV to many channels and to many of my sources who r working in in the line which is related to entertainment but still i am not receiving any call for a interview from anywhere.
So can u tell me at this stage what should i do whether i should stick to this feild or i should change the line.

You seem to have decent experience. I am sure you have a showreel.
You should ‘upload your resume’ in JOBS on our site. Its free. While choosing your category select editor video and whatever else you specialise in as we allow upto 5 multiple choices. We also allow upload of showreel and images.
You should ‘upload listing’ in RESOURCES on our site. Its free. While choosing your category select ‘editing team’ and the subcategory associated with it. Also choose whatever else you specialise in as we allow upto 5 multiple choices. We also allow upload of showreel and images.
It might help if you could upgrade your skills and learn effects machines like the SMOKE etc. theyw ill give you an edge above the rest.
Another useful approach could be try and assist some editor in films. The money wont be good but if you are good, soon you’ll get your chances to edit in movies.
You could find the list of editors on our site. Go into resources through the black band on our home page. From there choose the desired category(editors) in ‘View categories’ and find the required contacts.
